01 / Operational identity

Agent-native

Aithos provides a neutral, durable identity designed exclusively for AI agents. It is not a human account: agents receive authority and act through it.

Every request is signed and verified against its mandate chain. The agent using it may change; the identity, its authority, and its audit trail remain consistent.

02 / Interoperability

Universal

Aithos is compatible with industry standards across leading agent platforms and clouds.

From Copilot to Salesforce, Vertex AI, Bedrock, and OpenAI, every Ethos keeps its identity and authority intact.

03 / Bounded authority

Delegation

A mandate defines exactly what an agent may do, on which resource, and within which limits.

Authority can be restricted by operation, scope, validity period, usage count, or service-specific constraints.

A sphere sends a signed package through the only authorized gateway

04 / Isolated execution

Resources

Agents act on company resources without ever receiving the credentials that protect them.

A gateway verifies the mandate and performs the requested operation. Neither the agent nor Aithos gains access to the underlying secret.

05 / Durable context

Deep

An Ethos is more than an identifier. It carries the durable context that gives an identity depth.

This context is structured as a Markdown tree and exposed through MCP according to three distinct access zones.

An agent combines three independent Ethos for a single mission

06 / Composition

Modular

Several Ethos can be combined for a single mission without merging their identities or responsibilities.

The agent receives their combined capabilities, while every action remains attributable to the mandate and entity that authorized it.

07 / Root authority

Owned

Every Ethos has a single owner. Only that owner holds its root key and ultimate authority.

Neither Aithos nor any third party has root access. Delegated parties receive bounded mandates, never ownership itself.

Organizations, people, and agents share a neutral sphere infrastructure

08 / Protocol

Neutral

An Ethos lives encrypted on a neutral trust layer, outside the organization.

From anywhere, at any time, mandated third parties access only their granted scope, while Aithos verifies mandates and technical metadata without accessing private business content.
